KanColle: Incomplete Purification

I was thinking, for Admirals who failed to get the one shipgirl who had the event boss based on them because they failed to finish it off, and then farmed for the same shipgirl later in another event...

How pure (read: free from Abyssal elements and influence) is your shipgirl?

I was thinking if this would be a possible explanation to why a lot of event bosses were based on the eventual shipgirl reward of the events they make their debut in. As it is we can draw some parallels from the Abyssal Shipgirls to their suspected Kanmusu counterparts in hindsight. So by chance if you fail to clear the event and get the reward shipgirl, then several events later she is available and you start farming for her, a sinister idea crossed my mind:

What if the shipgirl you failed to get from her debut event boss, and then managed to get from event map drops; are still Abyssals?

And then I have Teruzuki.

... Don't ask her how she got "purified" in this fanart, please. Obviously as an Admiral you should have your own ideas regarding that for yourself.

Well, going by that I also have Mizuho, but the Mizuho in my base was obtained by wrestling the Abyss out of her (hello Seaplane Tender Princess, how have you been) in one shot (first drop when I started farming for Akizuki back in Fall 2015).
